Preparation :

• Here's how to do it: 1) Peel 100 g (1 large) onion and cut it into wedges. Fry 500 g of lean meat cubes (pork, beef or mixed) in batches in 1 tablespoon of hot oil, add the onion and fry it until golden brown. 2) Pour in 400 ml of water, stir in the fix and bring the goulash to the boil while stirring. 3) Cover the goulash and let it simmer over low heat for about 1 hour. Stir from time to time. Noodles, dumplings or potatoes and red cabbage form a classic addition.
