Preparation :

• And this is how it works: 1) Fry 500 g of beef (e.g. from the leg) in 1 tbsp hot oil all around. 2) Pour in 500 ml of water, bring to a boil and stir in the fix. 3) Braise the sauerbraten covered over low heat for about 1 hour. Turn the meat over halfway through. Cut the meat into slices and let it soak briefly in the sauce. Potato dumplings and red cabbage taste good with it.
